Far too often, people with disabilities encounter unnecessary barriers when seeking out natural health or complementary therapies. Whether this be from clinics without interpreters, to yoga classes in inaccessible spaces, to websites that can’t be navigated by screen readers. The result is that many are excluded from care that could greatly enhance their quality of life. We believe it’s time for this to change.
